The Full Story

About

Born out of a passion for ultra-distance racing and a belief that anyone is capable of completing an ultra-distance race. All Pace Races aims to give anyone who wants, that experience.

Tom Levy, Founder of All Pace Races, pushing his bike on a bikepacking trip in Norfolk along Weavers Way in North Norfolk.

The Problem

Ultra-distance racing can be a daunting, dangerous, and lonely adventure. Simply starting can be a near-impossible task. There are many things that stop people from attempting it and more that stop them from finishing.

  • Time to train for 1000mile+ race

  • Cost

  • Where/how do you sleep

  • Where/how to eat and drink

  • Logistics of getting to the start and home from the finish

  • What equipment to take

  • How to carry all your equipment

  • Length of time racing

The Solution

All Pace Races aims to alleviate all of these problems whilst still giving the experience of completing an ultra-distance event.

  • 1 Weekend. It's amazing what you can do in such a short period of time.

  • 4 Routes instead of 1. This means there is no worrying about being miles from the start/finish.

  • 4 Routes also allows for more opportunities to crossover with other riders.

  • No need to carry all the gear you need. By having a central Start/Checkpoint/Finish that you go through multiple times, you can leave bulky heavy items such as sleeping bags to use later.

  • A safe place to lay your head. By having a central Start/Checkpoint/Finish you are able to use it as a safe place to sleep.

  • The central Start/Checkpoint/Finish will always have water. No need to worry about filling your bottles up.

  • All Paces Races events don't cost the Earth
